SHERA Committee
The Safety, Health, Environmental and Regulatory Affairs (SHERA) Committee is defined as a panel of ILMA members which provides guidance regarding existing and emerging safety, health, environmental and regulatory issues related to the lubricants industry and their impact on ILMA members and end users. The committee includes people with safety, health, environmental and regulatory backgrounds; legal staff; and any additional interested persons from ILMA member companies. The Committee interacts with Congress, regulatory agencies, related industry groups and stakeholders, the scientific community and ILMA Member companies to provide education, information and outreach to Members and the communities they impact on behalf of the Association. As part of its educational efforts, the Committee promotes product stewardship within the Association in accordance with ILMA's Strategic Plan.
