Cellular Phone Service

Currently, all major cellular providers report good service in the Palm Springs area. Check your provider's website if you have concerns about your coverage or signal strength.

Parking

Overnight valet is $25/night, daily valet is $10/day. The self parking fee has been waived for ILMA attendees.

Internet Service

Internet access is included in the resort fee. All guest rooms have wireless internet access and only limited rooms also have wired. Many public areas in the hotel have wireless access. ILMA/Petro-Canada Base Camp will have complimentary wireless access for meeting attendees.

Dining

To provide members with outstanding networking opportunities, ILMA selects hotels that are the right size for our group. As a result, some of these hotels don't offer as many dining options as larger hotels would. The Hyatt has several restaurants and lounges:

Located in the main building:

• Lantana, the hotel's signature restaurant, with an open-air kitchen, indoor and outdoor seating, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.
• Roadrunner Café, a poolside garden grill for a casual lunch or afternoon snack.
• Espresso Deli and Café, conveniently located in the lobby, where you can pick up coffee, sandwiches and pastries to go, from 5:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
• The Bar, serving handcrafted cocktails and appetizers afternoons and into the night.
• Oasis Pool Bar, for specialty tropical drinks poolside.

Outside of the main building:

• Roadrunner Café, a poolside garden grill for a casual lunch or afternoon snack.
• Oasis Pool Bar, for specialty tropical drinks poolside.
• Indian Wells Golf Club, next door, only a short walk from the hotel, also has dining options. This beautiful new facility features the IW Café, open from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and the IW Club, serving lunch and dinner, as well as a bar, open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Please see below for more information on the new clubhouse.

The Hyatt will also offer buffet lunches on Saturday and Sunday on the Lantana terrace.

What to Wear

The average October temperatures in Palm Springs are highs in the 90s with lows in the 60s. It can be breezy, so be sure to dress for your comfort.

ILMA recommends the following:

• Day: Business casual
• Receptions: Shorts or slacks – dress for your evening plans.
  • Saturday's reception is outdoors at the main pool area on a patio surface.
  • Sunday's reception is outdoors at the main drive on a patio surface.
• Closing Reception and President's Dinner: Reception and Dinner are indoors. Dress is cocktail dresses for ladies and coat and tie for gentlemen.

The place to:

• Pick up registration materials
• Select your seat for the President's Dinner
• Browse tabletop displays
• Check email at the internet center or utilize the wireless network
• Refresh with snacks and drinks
• Select your seat for the President's Dinner
• Network throughout the day
• Ask the ILMA staff any questions you have

Base Camp will close at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 9 and Sunday, October 10. If you arrive after Base Camp closes, please go directly to the receptions to pick up your badge.

President's Dinner Seat Selection

You are responsible for choosing a seat for Tuesday's President's Dinner. When you check in at Base Camp, you will receive a seat selection ticket.

• Bring this ticket back to Base Camp between Sunday at 10:00 a.m. and Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. to select seats for the dinner. A diagram of the ballroom will be available.
• To select seats for more than one person, you must bring all the individual tickets.
• Seat selection closes promptly at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
