Aerial Tram and Windfarm Tour


The Palm Springs Aerial Tram on Mt. Jacinto is an engineering and design landmark. Ride a rotating cable car to Mt. San Jacinto State Park and enjoy the beautiful views of this pristine wilderness from 8,516 feet. From the Mountain Station, you can see the valley floor dotted with towering wind turbines.

Following your tram ride down the mountain, you'll take a driving tour through the San Gorgonio Pass. You'll get a chance to view the wind farm up close while a tour guide discusses the history of wind energy, the current utilization of wind power and gives an informative glimpse into the future of the electric industry.

Segway Celebrity Architecture Tour


Zip through Palm Springs on a personal Segway while learning about the architects, and their famous clients, who defined the style of Palm Springs and made it one of the world's most important collections of mid-century modern architecture. Explore the iconic celebrity neighborhoods and enjoy a closer look at one of Palm Springs' most celebrated homes — the Honeymoon Hideaway of Elvis and Priscilla Presley. The excursion includes a strolling tour of the Palm Springs Walk of the Stars and time to shop and explore at Palm Canyon.

The beginning of the tour will include training on how to ride the Segways, and tour guides will be with you to ensure your safety the whole way. Segways have a minimum weight limit of 100 pounds, and a maximum of 250 pounds.

$190 per person


Please note: Tours may be cancelled if the minimum attendance requirement is not met.

Buses for the tours will leave promptly, at 12:30 p.m., from the Conference Center driveway.

Golf

Hyatt Grand Champions Resort, Villas and Spa is home to two exceptional golf course, ranked in the Top 20 "Best Courses You Can Play" in California by Golf Week magazine. The Celebrity Course, opened in 2006, features breathtaking mountain vistas, natural flowers and striking waterfalls. The Players Course will not be open during our meeting — however there are many more golf courses in the Palm Springs area.

Spa

The award-winning Agua Serena Spa offers a lush oasis in the serene desert setting for massages, facial and skin treatments, body treatments and salon services. The facilities also include relaxation rooms, eucalyptus steam rooms, dry saunas and Jacuzzis for spa guests and the fitness center. Without a spa treatment, spa facility use may be purchased a la carte.
