At Work for You In 2007
- ILMA launched the PCMO testing program, putting "teeth" to the ethics initiative, plus expanded the initiative to include tractor hydraulic fluids to the program.
- Hired a marketing firm to conduct an assessment of what the Association's brand stands for today and what ILMA members expect the brand to stand for in the future.
- 97 percent of respondents are 'extremely' to 'somewhat' satisfied with their membership!
- Provided excellent educational sessions and increased networking opportunities at both the Management Forum and Annual Meeting, thanks to the highest attendance (at both meetings) since 2000.
- Expanded membership by adding 28 companies in 2007, bringing total membership to more than 300 member companies, thereby expanding the opportunity to network for existing and new members.
- Provided award-winning publications, to help members improve their -businesses and relationships with other member companies.
- Compoundings was redesigned in 2007 and FlashPoint is launching a new design in 2008
- ILMA's 2007 Media Kit won the Silver Award in Association Trends All-Media Contest
- Represented members "inside the beltway" and on Capitol Hill on issues ranging from worker health and safety to environmental, tax, and general business concerns.
- Through the Scholarship Program, helped 28 college students reach for their educational goals and saw two more scholarship recipients graduate from—college.
ILMA is the principal voice for the lubricants industry before Congress, federal regulatory agencies and other industry groups. Through its enforceable Code of Ethics, ILMA promotes integrity and quality in lubricant manufacturing and marketing.

- ILMA's Engine & Transmission Lubricants, Industrial Lubricants, Metalworking Lubricants, Grease, Packaging, Family Business Council, and Safety, Health, Environmental & Regulatory Affairs Committees provide the opportunity for exchanging information and for joint action on issues of greatest interest to their segments of the industry.
- Association Committees
- Board members and officers lead the Ethics, Finance, Membership, Legislative Affairs, Branding, Nominating, Past Presidents' Panel, Program Planning, and Scholarship Committees so that these committees help strengthen ILMA's role within the industry.
- Meetings
- ILMA's meetings have become known as the best place to learn about trends in the lubricants industry, reconnect with old colleagues and meet new associates. ILMA's fall Annual Meeting and spring Management Forum offer all members the opportunity to meet face-to-face to conduct ILMA and industry business

- Compoundings, ILMA's monthly magazine, serves as a communication tool for ILMA, informing members about trends in the lubricants industry and updates on member companies around the world
- FlashPoint, ILMA's weekly eNewsletter, is delivered to your inbox every Tuesday by noon with timely regulatory and industry information
