The ILMA Community is STRONG AND GROWING with 316 members and 23 new companies joining in 2013!
Fulfilling Our New Strategic Plan:
ILMA = The industry's premier networking, educational and informative events — our 2013 Management Forum was the largest ever, and the 2013 Annual Meeting had the largest attendance in 14 years, with the biggest number of Manufacturing Members ever!
ILMA = Public Policy Representation, working for YOU on issues such as implementing the new Hazard Communications Rule (GHS), California's efforts to regulate VOCs from metalworking fluids, TSCA reform and investing in our industry's ability to tell its story to policy makers on Capitol Hill. This year ILMA and API worked together to seek implementation and enforcement of National Conference on Weights & Measures changes that strengthen ILMA’s testing initiative!
ILMA = A source of information and education on global market issues, including GHS, REACH and importing/exporting changes. An informative GHS Train the Trainer Seminar helped over 60 members sort out the complexities of meeting a major compliance deadline. A special Industry Session presentation at the Annual Meeting covered U.S. Commercial Service: The World is Open for Business! Together, ILMA members can compete in the global market!
ILMA = Commitment to ensuring its members can compete in a fair marketplace with an outstanding ethics and testing program, now in its 7th year.
ILMA = Communicating knowledge with:
ILMA Foundation = Supporting future leaders through the Scholarship Program. Over the past 13 years, ILMA has awarded scholarships to 92 students. Of these, 55 have graduated from college and 20 are still receiving funding and working toward their degrees, and 17 new students were awarded scholarships this year. With member support over the years, ILMA has awarded more than $200,000 in financial aid to friends and relatives of ILMA member company employees.
BIG SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM CHANGES IN 2014!
