Action Items:
- Add Mr. McCluer, Mr. Jones and Mr. Wilson to Flashpoint and Compoundings. Mr. McCluer and Mr. Wilson were added to both, and Mr. Jones was added to Flashpoint as of June 7, 2004.
- Inquire about time availability on ILMA's Annual meeting program agenda for this fall to allow for an OSHA representative to come speak on behalf of the ILMA-OSHA Alliance to discuss Small Business Resources available by OSHA to ILMA members. Mrs. Barmoy spoke with ILMA Executive Director, Celeste Powers regarding space on the Annual meeting agenda. 15 minutes can be made available for ILMA's opening day session. Mr. Kraska approved Mrs. Barmoy to send a formal invitation to OSHA's Small Business Group. Mrs. Barmoy and Mr. McCluer will coordinate meeting and presentation specifics.
- Mrs. Barmoy will continue to update the ILMA-OSHA website as necessary.
- Ms. Ramber will inquire of Mr. Bob Curtis of OSHA's Salt Lake Technical Center regarding the LubeCare® information ILMA provided at the Alliance kick off meeting.
- ILMA's Dermatitis Fact Sheet Task Force will follow up with requests made by the group for research materials to be provided by Castrol as well as data by the major car manufacturers. John Cutcher will follow up with Dan Zbinden of Castrol as well as the big 3 companies. OSHA will check the web hits made on OSHA's Health and Safety Topics page for Dermatitis.
- OSHA to amend the ILMA-OSHA Alliance Agreement to insert the words "and use" to section stating "Share information on best practices in lubricant, manufacturing and distribution, as jointly determined by OSHA and ILMA, with others in the industry and promote awareness of occupational hazards through ILMA's product stewardship programLubeCare®." The ILMA Metalworking Fluid Task Group will create a rough outline this summer for their 1-2 page web tool mwf quick start guide for small businesses. The task group will have a draft available for review by the next quarterly meeting in October and recommendations to OSHA by November. The task group indicated the timeline for completion to be by the first anniversary of the alliance of February 2005.
- Mrs. Barmoy to forward Gene White's contact information to Mr. McCluer for contact information for the Editorial Board to review the Health and Safety Topics pages, particularly MWFs topic page. Mrs. Barmoy forwarded Mr. McCluer Mr. White's contact information on February 7th, 2004.
- Mr. Kraska will provide a draft "overview of lubricants" document to the alliance highlighting all major classes of lubricants by the next alliance meeting to be held in October 2004.
- Mr. Kraska will forward Mrs. Barmoy a revised presentation presented at the American Bearings Manufacturers Association Annual Meeting to share with OSHA. Mr. McCluer will add the presentation to the list of alliance accomplishments for educating other organizations on to the ILMA Alliance web page posted on the OSHA website.
- Mrs. Barmoy will work with Mr. McCluer on an ILMA Alliance progress article for OSHA's Alliance Quarterly Report due around mid-August.
- Next quarterly meeting is scheduled for October 19th, 2004 from 10-12 ET.
