REACH Resources for ILMA Members
Updated August 26, 2008
ILMA member companies are now facing new challenges regarding REACH and GHS. The EU initiative for Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of CHemicals (REACH) is a complex registration process for all manufacturers and importers of chemical substances that will result in significant registration fees and possible testing costs.
This page has been provided as a resource for all members regarding REACH. ILMA Members are encouraged to check this page periodically for important updates.

Proposed Fee Structure for Registration
- There are no fees to be paid to ECHA for preregistration of substances. These fees apply to registration activities that will occur for some substances as early as 2009.
- Basic Registration Fees are per substance per registrant. Note that if you use an Only Representative that fee is charged to the Only Representative. If Only Representative has more than one client for the substance, this fee should be split among clients.
