Apply for Scholarship

Thank you for your interest in the 2010-2011 ILMA Scholarship Program. Applications will be available on April 1, 2010, and will be due by June 30, 2010. Please see the information below for requirements.

To be eligible, applicants must:

• be a citizen in a North American country
• enroll or be enrolled for the 2010-2011 academic year at a college or university in North America as an undergraduate
• register as a full-time student
• have a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA)

Other factors taken into consideration, in the order listed, are:

• relationship to ILMA member company (excluding owners’ children*)
  
  *this includes partial and minority owners
• financial need
• cumulative GPA
• preference will be given to those with majors in math, science and engineering.

All applicants must submit an essay on why they should receive this scholarship.

Topics should include:

• How the scholarship will benefit future education endeavors; and
• Any “special circumstances” (i.e., the applicant is the first child to go to college, comes from a single parent household, or need-based financial assistance, etc.)
