TSCA “Inactive” Deadline: August 5, 2019

After August 5, 2019, EPA says that manufacturers and processors will be required to notify the Agency before reintroducing into commerce a substance currently identified as “inactive” on the reset TSCA Inventory. Currently, 45,573 chemicals are listed as inactive. Manufacturers and processors must file a Notice of Activity Form B (found in EPA's Central Data Exchange (CDX)) in order to change the designation of substances from inactive to active. GO >>
