White House: China has One Month to Finalize Deal


U.S. officials issued an ultimatum to Chinese trade representatives after days of unproductive negotiations -- either China agrees to a deal within the next month, or 25 percent tariffs will be imposed on all Chinese goods imported into the U.S. The threat came shortly after the U.S. increased tariffs on $200 billion of Chinese goods, and China retaliated with tariffs on U.S. goods.  If tariffs are imposed on all U.S.-China trade, American consumers will see increases on technology and other goods that have until now been left out of the trade dispute.
